Each student will receive a blank journal to help create their stories, store ideas and inspiration.

This Writing your Book workshop is for children 9 & up.

Class covers all facets of writing your children’s book, we cover a lot of topics.
Types of Books: Picture, Chapter, Novels, Coloring Books, Activity Books, Journals.

Then we move on to the illustrating portion of the book. Whether they are creating
a picture book or a chapter book there no illustrations needed for book cover and/or
the interior pages.

They learn the choices they can make and rules they must follow
in the publishing world.

We talk about passive income and marketing once book is published

They will not leave the class with a published book but when they are finished and
ready to start the publishing process they will work one on one with me to complete
the publishing process. Once published and printed, their books will go up on the
shelves of Young Bookworms for sale, if they agree. I haven’t had anyone that
didn’t want their books up on our shelves.

This class is a confidence builder.
